BelGee Plant Forces Employees To Work Overtime And On Weekends
PHOTO FOR ILLUSTRATION

Salaries at the enterprise are so low that no one wants to work voluntarily.

Employees are forced to work overtime and on weekends at the BelGee plant in Barysau. The corresponding order was signed by the acting director general Hennadz Svidserski. The photo was published in Barysau public groups, the Telegram channel Basta reports.

“When business needs occur in the period until December 31, 2019, oblige BelGee employees to start working overtime and weekends on a mandatory basis, without limiting the maximum number of overtime hours and working hours on weekends and without prior approval from the employee,” – the document states.

At first glance, this is not such bad news – not every company can boast of having sales and work. Most, on the contrary, make employees go on forced vacations. What is the secret of BelGee, besides the fact that all state organizations and departments are fonced to buy their cars?

Two clicks - and all the secrets of the enterprise are in full view.

The first is that the salaries at BelGee are such that it's hard to find those who would want to work there, and those who work there, do not stay long. They have to force those who stayed to work for a penny. By the way, as one of the former employees told us, the salary that is indicated in the vacancy will, at best, be paid after five months of work. And until that time – a trial period with half the salary.

Second: terrible working conditions. You can judge about them from the feedback left by former BelGee employees. The screenshots are below. And here are the most vivid extracts: “incompetent leadership,” “you can’t make a career here,” “the work is hard – I am the time on my feet,” “meager salary,” “good salary is only for the Chinese, and we are slaves.

Working overtime, without days off for $ 100 – this is too much even for slaves. How long will the BelGee workers be patient?
