Belarus Worsened Its Position In Ranking Of Best Countries In World

The first place in the ranking, which includes 80 countries, belongs to Switzerland.

US News & World Report has published an annual ranking of the 80 best countries in the world.

The countries were evaluated by nine criteria: the development of the tourism industry, innovation, social services, culture, economic growth rates, openness to business, the general standard of living of the population, as well as the strength and influence on the world stage and the historical heritage.

The first place in the ranking, which includes 80 countries, belongs to Switzerland.

It is followed by Japan (three lines up since last year), Canada (one line down), Germany (one line down), Great Britain (one line down), Sweden and Australia, which is ahead of the United States. Angola (78 place), Iran (79) and Iraq (80) hit rock bottom. The list also includes Latvia (55th place), Ukraine (65th place), Kazakhstan (68th place) and Belarus (73rd place).

We remind that last year Belarus was on the 72nd place.
