Do Minsk Election Commission Members "Have Nothing To Do"?

Do Minsk Election Commission Members "Have Nothing To Do"?

Therefore, they spend at the pickets of "European Belarus" for several hours.

Members of the commissions of the Chkalauski constituency No. 96 and Partyzanski constituency No. 110 visited today Aksana Yushkevich and Artsiom Charniak's pre-election pickets. Both candidates were threatened with warnings, the press service of the European Belarus civil campaign reports.

- The election commission members simply stated to my friends, who were picketing at the Ocean store, that they shouldn't stand there. At that, earlier, the head of the commission, Sviatlana Yurenia, said clearly that we could have pickets. On the other hand, when asked by a common passerby "Do you have nothing to do?" a member of the election commission, who came up to us, answered: "Yes, how did you guess?" - Artsiom Charniak said.

- The members of the election commission, who for some reason came up to us accompanied by the police, did not like the fact that I had photos of our comrades who were denied registration at my stand, - Aksana Yushkevich said.

At many pickets unknown people, accompanied by police officers, were capturing the activists on video.

Today, pickets of European Belarus are held all over Minsk. Activists distribute information materials and communicate with residents of the capital.
