Lukashenka: I Had To Raise Russian Citizen Valodzia Muliavin To Heights

The dictator has told another cock-and-bull story in the style of "Bykau's poems".

Lukashenka made this statement at the meeting with the governor of Sverdlovsk voblast, Yevgeni Kuyvashev, thanking him for his help in erecting a monument to musician Uladzimir Muliavin in Minsk, BelTA informs.

"Your gift - the monument - stands high. We pay close attention to Uladzimir Muliavin's memory and support all his creative work. This is our common pride - Valodzia Muliavin, whom I knew very well, with whom I was very friendly. After the nationalist riot ( and it was there in Belarus for several years), I had to raise him as our, Russian man, to the heights. I told the Belarusians directly that this Russian had taught us to speak the Belarusian language," - Lukashenka said.
