The note and two Soviet coins of 1 kopeck nominal value were in a bottle of champagne, assembler of construction structures Andrei Spirydovich informed Minsk-Novosti. They were found during construction work on the dismantling of granite slabs at the monument in Victory Square.
- I noticed the paper in the bottle and realized that it was a letter from the past. It was torn.
The letter, which is probably written by the workers who were working on the improvement of the object, begins with the address to the descendants. It mentions the "high-power brigade" and also mentions the names of the workers.
The text is not entirely preserved. However, it is possible to read the words that "here they were busting their guts", probably "for 13 rubles per shift".
