Uladzimir Niapomniashchykh: First Point Of My Program Is Impeachment To Lukashenka
ULADZIMIR NIAPOMNIASHCHYKH

The terrified authorities did not let the speech of the Homel activist on air.

The speech of Homel activist Uladzimir Niapomniashchykh was to be heard on October 22 at 7 p.m., but this did not happen.

“It means, I said everything correctly and tread on this power’s corns. What I am very proud of,” Uladzimir Niapomniashchykh commented on the removal of his speech from air, to the ucpb.org website. “My main “fault” is that the first point of my program in the “parliamentary election” will be the impeachment of Lukashenka.”

In his speech, the activist also suggested limiting the protection of the ruler to two employees and had a go at the “deputies”, saying that he would seek for them the minimum wage in the country.

“If they want more, then let them increase the well-being of the people,” says Uladzimir Niapomniashchykh. “For all these guys who did nothing to protect the people, I’ll demand that they not be counted as members of the “parliament”, and that the money they received in the form of pensions, salaries, allowances should be collected in state revenue.”

According to Niapomniashchykh, one cannot speak of a stable and prosperous Belarus when the authorities have money for ice palaces, residences, parades, Slavic Bazaars and a toilet for a million dollars, but there is no way to help a child:

“On TV they constantly announce: “Help the child, donate two kapeykas for treatment, the child is dying.” I live near the Homel department store and see how they regularly force children to ask for money to buy pens, pencils, erasers for the orphanage. And this is a disgrace for Belarus, a disgrace for the Belarusian people, a disgrace for Lukashenka, and a disgrace for me. People like Lukashenka should not be in power.”

Uladzimir Niapomniashchykh intends to prepare a complaint in the coming days.

“I also want to record my speech and put it on the Internet,” he says. “Let the whole world know what is happening in Belarus.”
