Epic Film By Pavel Selin In Minsk

Famous Russian TV journalist and director Pavel Selin, head of the NTV directorate in Minsk, presents his documentary film about the legendary leader of the band "DDT" Yuri Shevchuk in Minsk on Sunday, November 3.

The film "Yura the Musician" was being made during 11 years, it captured dozens of cities from Ufa to St. Petersburg, from Tallinn to Karaganda. The film crew traveled several tours with the musicians, visited the "DDT" studio and the village where Shevchuk writes poetry. Pavel Selin chose from the group's archive the most interesting, important and dangerous moments, the poet's reflections on the past, present and future. Belarusians will be able to see in the film the shots from the Minsk concert of the Russian band.
