November 16, Minsk hosted the Meeting of Free People - a legal action on Svabody Square - on the initiative of the European Belarus civil campaign. There were candidates for "deputies" of the so-called Belarusian "parliament" and their representatives among the participants of the action.

Jauhen Afnahel, one of the leaders of European Belarus, declared the absence of elections in the country, so the candidates of the civil campaign remove their candidacy and burn certificates in protest right outside the CEC building.

After the march in the center of Minsk (Freedom Square - Nezalezhnastsi Avenue) under slogans "It's over for fake elections and Yermoshina!" participants of European Belarus refused to participate in the farce and urged Belarusians to boycott the event the Belarusian authorities call "elections".
