"Empires, Alliances Are Worse Than Shared Apartments And Hostels"

The Belarusians will continue to defend their independence.

Head of Hrodna city organization of the United Civil Party Uladzimir Prudnikau called on Hrodna residents to support the independence of Belarus in the commentary Radio Racyja.

"Independence is first of all our own home, our own country, although not a big one, but still it is ours, our own. Belarusians did not have independence as a nation for several centuries. They were part of the Russian Empire, part of the Soviet Union... Now we have the greatest value - our own state, our own home. Empires, unions are worse than shared apartments and hostels," - the politician said.

According to the politician, representatives of his organization will take part in various events that will take place in support of the independence of Belarus.

We remind that on December 7 and 8, rallies to defend the independence and sovereignty of Belarus took place in Kalinouski Square (Kastrychnitskaya Square) in Minsk. Several thousand people took part in them.
