This raised concern among Russian tourists.
Recreation, including for Russian tourists, in sanatoriums and resorts of Belarus, has doubled over the past two years, the executive director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) Maya Lomidze states.
During the press conference devoted to the situation in the industry, she noted that Belarus remains a standing leader among the CIS countries in the number of tours sold to Russians, ria.ru writes.
"The situation has not changed yet, although the prices for recreation in this country have increasingly risen. Vacations in Belarus are much cheaper than at similar sanatoriums and resorts in Russia," the representative of ATOR says.
She specifies that over the past two years, the price of tourist services has almost doubled in Belarus.
