A scandalous investigative movie of Deutsche Welle about missing politicians.

On December 16, Deutsche Welle released a film-confession of former firing squad fighter Yuri Garavsky.

He claims that in 1999-2003, he was a fighter of SWAT. By order of superiors, he and his colleagues kidnapped and killed opponents of Lukashenka's regime - former Interior Minister of Belarus Yury Zakharenka, former head of the Central Election Commission Viktar Hanchar and businessman Anatol Krasouski.

In the spring and fall of 1999, these three people went missing. The investigation was not brought to end. In 2004, Special Rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Christos Pourgourides, having studied all the details, concluded that Zakharenka, Hanchar and Krasouski had been kidnapped and killed by SWAT soldiers headed by Lieutenant Colonel Dzmitry Pavlichenka.

"The case will be closed only when a proper investigation is carried out and it becomes clear what happened to these people. These kidnappings and murders were carried out with the consent of top officials. When I talk about it, I mean Lukashenka," Christos Pourgourides says in the film of Deutsche Welle.
