Lukashenka Removed Kachanava From Post Of His Administration Head

Natallia Kachanava left the post of head of the Lukashenka administration. According to BelTA, Lukashenka has appointed Ihar Siarheyanka in her place, and Volha Chuprys has become deputy head of administration.

Kachanava heads to the so-called council of the republic.

Major-General Ihar Siarheyanka is the First Deputy Chairman of the KGB of Belarus, and Doctor of Law, Professor Volha Chuprys works at the BSU as a pro-rector for educational work and educational innovations.

In 2008, Siarheyanka was in charge of recognising the books "Letters from the Forest" by Pavel Seviarynets, "The Accidental President" (by Kalinkina and Sharamet) and the newspaper of the Polish minority "Głos znad Niemna" as extremist.

According to tut.by, Natallia Kachanava has worked as head of the Lukashenka administration for three years. Prior to that, she had been a vice-premier of Belarus for two years, supervising the social sphere and was responsible for education, health care, culture and sports. She came to the government from Navapolatsk, where she headed the city executive committee for seven years.
