Basta – To Officials: Run Until It Is Too Late

You have already been sacrificed.

A couple of weeks ago, we warned Vorsha officials about the new visit of the Minsk authorities, which would be followed by consequences, the Basta telegram-channel writes.

Yesterday, it took place. Lukashenka’s administration head Kachanava arrived in Vorsha and made a severe reprimand to the district executive committee:

“You have no time for a ramp-up, the time for persuasion is over. Virtually not a single key performance indicator has been met over the past year. Start working immediately. It’s a matter of honor for all of us to turn the situation and break the impasse in Vorsha region. Nobody will wait, proposals will be made on personnel, if it does not work out in another way.”

You will not turn it and will not break it. You know this better than us. The next visit of the guests from Minsk will end not just with “proposals on personnel”, but with demonstrative flogging and arrests. You have already been assigned the scapegoats. Run before it is too late – the border with Russia is very close.
