Warsaw is ready for a full reboot of the Belarusian-Polish relations, if official Minsk recognizes the Union of Poles in Belarus.

Journalist Ruslan Shoshin from the Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita thinks so, Radio Racyja reports.

On the eve he managed to interview Mikhail Miasnikovich, who had come to visit Warsaw.

According to the agreement, it will be published in the newspaper after the proofreading by the Minsk side.

“I cannot speak about the details of the conversation with Miasnikovich, because it will still be authorized, they will have to confirm them. What message could Miasnikovich convey to Warsaw? It seems, that there will not be Russian military bases in Belarus, maybe. So I can just imagine, that they could talk about it. And on the Polish side, for example, that Polish cooperation with the United States or NATO does not threaten Belarus in any case. It is noteworthy that there had been no previous announcements about Miasnikovich’s visit on Polish government websites or in the press,” – Ruslan Shoshin said.

Embassy of Belarus in Warsaw refused to report Radio Racyja on the schedule of meetings. Mikhail Miasnikovich's visit to Warsaw remained shrouded in mystery. The chairman of the “council of republic” appeared in front of the journalists during a briefing at the Senate of Poland, but they were not allowed to ask the official a single question.
