Even “veterans of work” are listed as “parasites”.

The first story is about a Homel woman who demanded from the court to recognize her engaged in the economy

A week ago, Homel resident Maryja Tarasenka appealed to the court and demanded to put before the Constitutional Court the question that Decree No. 3 violates the Constitution, and also to recognize her as engaged in the economy and to oblige the commission on promotion employment to exclude her from the database.

The other day, they called her from the Chyhunachny district court of Homel and asked to withdraw the statement. Maryja Tarasenka addressed REP Trade Union lawyer Leanid Sudalenka.

In an interview to praca-by.info, Leanid Sudalenka states that he will wait for the official response of the court: “The noose has been tightened around the neck of “parasites” – and they are not allowed to complain to the court!”

The human rights activist reminds that judicial protection of the rights belongs to every citizen.

– This is guaranteed by the Constitution, and no judge in the country has any right to refuse to initiate proceedings! So, for half a million Belarusians, those whom officials called “not engaged in the economy,” the way to court is closed? – Leanid Sudalenka asks.

Earlier, in an interview to Salidarnasts, Maryja Tarasenka said that she is the owner of a two-room apartment, she has not been officially employed for more than ten years, as she her family income allows her to work about the house.

The woman was invited to the commission on employment on her birthday.

The second story is about the veterans of labor who have accidentally been listed as “parasites”

Minsker Siarhei was paying off via Internet banking the utility bills of his parents, born in 1938 and 1942. When paying, a message appeared: “You are pre-assigned to citizens who are not engaged in the economy.”

– A similar message, as it turned out, was also available in the bill for January 2019. Why wasn’t there a single person who at least checked the dates of birth? – tut.by cites the words of the Minsk dweller. – Who gave the right to insult my parents, veterans of labor, retirees who have work experience of more than 40 and 30 years, calling them not engaged in the economy? Who will apologize? Who is responsible for the fact that my parents almost needed an ambulance after such insults?

His sister, temporarily living abroad, is registered in the parents' apartment, but the owners are the parents. Three names were listed on the check.
