The European Union has changed the visa code.
The Council of Europe issued a preliminary decision on changes to the visa code. The document provides for an increase in the fee for obtaining a Schengen visa from 60 to 80 euros, reports Radio Liberty.
What changes does the visa code provide for?
- Visa fees have been increased to 80 euros. The amount of visa fees can be reduced if there is a readmission agreement between the EU and the state.
Readmission is the country's obligation to accept its citizens deported from another state and foreigners who illegally enter foreign territory through the territory of the country.
- You can get a visa in 15 days - six months before the trip.
- It will be possible to fill out and submit the application in the electronic form.
- For travelers with a positive history of previous visas, the term of the next will one be gradually increased by 1-5 years.
