Father And Son From Stolin Broke Nose To Local Policeman

A criminal case was initiated against a resident of Stolin, who is suspected of attacking a police officer, the Naviny Palessia newspaper reports with reference to the deputy head of the Stolin district police department for ideological work and staffing, Aliaksei Kozul.

The incident occurred in the Haryn microdistrict: the policeman tried to draw up a protocol against two drunk men, a father and a son, who were in a public place.

The Stolin residents started to resist the policeman and put up a fight, in which the younger one broke the local policeman’s nose.

According to Kozul, both the brawlers were detained, the father was soon released, and his son is now under arrest. A criminal case was opened against him under Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Belarus (violence or threat of violence against an employee of the internal affairs bodies). The man faces a punishment of up to six years in prison.
