Workers In Slutsk District Might Be Left Without Pensions

The branch of Slutsk agro-service was among the ten largest debtors in insurance premiums in the country.

The list of organizations that have overdue debts in obligatory insurance premiums has been published on the website of the Social Protection Fund. 24 defaulters from the Slutsk district got into it, writes kurjer.info. According to head of the collection collection department at the Minsk Regional Department of the Social Protection Fund Aliaksandr Dziamidau, the branch of the Slutsk agroservice was among the ten largest debtors in the country.

The Slutsk Meat-Processing Plant was also on the list of organizations that were overdue in compulsory insurance premiums. “The Meat-Processing Plant vowed to redeem the debt. They did,” said Aliaksandr Dziamidau.

At the beginning of this year, the situation at the branch of the Slutsk agroservice has not changed. According to Aliaksandr Dziamidau, “the agroservice itself is still more or less paying,” but the branch is not.

“And people suffer. Contributions are not paid, and sometimes there is no experience - years fall out,” said Aliaksandr Dziamidau and gave an example. Well, imagine the labor experience of 30 years. For example, five years have fallen out due to the fact that the employer did not pay insurance premiums. But the person has 25 years of experience, and will be accrued a pension. The only thing is that for each year of experience 1% is added to the pension. People lose money.

“You can go to court, prove the damage, and later recover the damage from the enterprise. But our people have not learned to do this. And it’s not worth waiting for a government agency to do this for them. Suing is a personal choice for everyone,” explained the source.

Aliaksandr Dziamidau said that already there are people who defend their rights in court. It turns out that if the contributions were paid by the employer, the person would receive, for example, a pension of 20 rubles more. In the case of a positive decision, the person will be paid extra 20 rubles. The law contains a liability rule.
