For 27 Years, Exchange-Value Of Belarusian Ruble Fell By 1,444,200 Times

A blogger has spoken about the dubious record of our country.

Today Lukashenka praised the head of the National Bank, Pavel Kallavur. The dictator thanked him for “keeping balance in the financial market.”

But has everything been so balanced in the financial market of Belarus?

As blogger Viktar Malisheuski calculated, during its existence, the Belarusian ruble fell against the dollar by ... 1,444,200 times!

We remind that in 2011 Belarus broke the depreciation world record. Then the National Bank carried out a one-time depreciation of the Belarusian ruble to a basket of currencies by 54%, while from the beginning of the year the national currency exchange rate fell by 71.62%.
