Activist Shows ‘Friend’ In Civillian Clothes His Proper Place Twice
DZIANIS KOBRUSEU

A stranger from “you know where” took interest to the activity of the participant of actions against the seal.

Dzianis Kobruseu, the coordinator of the “City for City Dwellers” initiative, said that an unknown person in civilian clothes asked about his civil activities twice, Radio Svaboda reports.

The stranger did not introduce himself, but he told Dzianis Kobruseu that he was from “you know where”.

Last night in Minsk, when Dzianis Kobruseu was returning home, the stranger tried to talk about Dzianis’s public activities.

Today there was another such attempt when the activist was leaving home.

“Yesterday he came to meet me when I was returning home. I replied that I had nothing to talk about with him, that we were not doing anything illegal. That was it. But this morning, when I came out of the doorway, the same person came out of the parked car and headed towards me with the same purpose - to offer an acquaintance. I retrieved to the hallway, called my friends so that they would come and witnesses, take pictures and call the police. However, in ten minutes the car left,” said the activist.

According to Dzianis Kobruseu, representatives of the special services love to make contacts with people who have an active civic position. Either they are looking for agents, or this is an attempt of “some kind of pressure”.

According to Dzianis Kobruseu, when the impaction of municipal construction in Minsk began, 300-400 people gathered for rallies, the activist spoke to them with a megaphone.

“Then there were no attempts. And now it looks even more amazing, since we have moved to a more expert work. I can connect this only with the fact that in ten years the influence of our organization has grown,” said Dzianis Kobruseu.
