Citizens of our country are outraged by the behavior of the special representative of the Russian Federation's ruler.

On March 16, a petition, demanding to declare Mikhail Babich, the Russian ambassador to Belarus, persona non grata, appeared on the petitions.by website:

“Considering the command tone of Russian ambassador M. Babich, who does not understand the difference between the federal district of the Russian Federation and the independent state of the Republic of Belarus, we ask, in accordance with Article 9 and Article 43 of the Vienna Convention of April 18, 1961 “On Diplomatic Relations” to declare the ambassador of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Babich, persona non grata.”

The appeal is planned to be sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.

It is worth noting that the petition was signed by more than 1,100 Belarusians in a few days. You can sign it here.

We remind that on March 14, the Russian ambassador to Belarus, Mikhail Babich, made an appeal in an interview to RIA Novosti to intensify the formation of the “union state.” In response, the official representative of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, Anatol Hlaz, published a comment comparing Babich to a “budding accountant.”

On March 18, Babich held a conference, dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the annexation of the Crimea by the Russian Federation, in Minsk.
