Belarus Totally Stops Receipt Of Russian Oil

The total amount of poor-quality oil in the pipelines is about five million tons.

On April 30, Belarus completely stopped receiving oil from Russia. This was stated by the chief engineer of JSC "Gomeltransneft Druzhba" Andrei Viaryha, reports TASS.

The resume of oil transit is expected on May 2 after ousting substandard oil. By May 10–11, Gomeltransneft Druzhba plans to reach 40% of the design capacity of the pipeline.

According to a preliminary assessment of the enterprise, the total amount of poor-quality oil in the pipelines of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Poland is about five million tons.

The night before, Russia’s Ministry of Energy reported that high-quality oil started coming to Belarus.
