Yarmoshyna Proposed Date For "Parliamentary Elections"

The decrees will be ready as early as July.

The "elections" of "deputies of the House of Representatives" may take place on November 17, and the members of the Council of the Republic – on November 7. This proposal is made by the Central Election Commission, BelTA informs.

Chairman of the CEC Lidziya Yarmoshyna stated that she would propose these dates at a future meeting with Lukashenka. After the dictator sets the date of the "parliamentary elections," the preparation of relevant decrees will begin. According to Yarmoshyna, they should be prepared in July.

During the announcement of the "message to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly," Lukashenka said that "parliamentary elections" would be held in the country this year, and "presidential elections" in 2020.
