NEXTA: 16 Year Old Girl Beaten In Hrodna Gestapo

A college student turned to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for help, and eventually got to a traumatologist.

Belarusian blogger Stsiapan Sviatlou wrote about this in the NEXTA telegram channel:

“Shocking news from the Hrodna Gestapo Department... sorry, MIA Department. On May 4, a 16-year-old college student, whose a laptop had been stolen from a dormitory room, was beaten up there. And in a way that she had to seek help from a traumatologist.

In addition to beatings, the girl was intimidated with SOBR, drug control, sending to the asylum and other charms. Obviously, during the interrogation, the presence of the minor’s parents and the teacher, as required by the Criminal Procedure Code, was out of the question.

The conclusion is simple: if you are robbed – it is better to contact the bandits without epaulets than the bandits in epaulets. Those ones are more human.

And the thing, by the way, ended in nothing – the laptop was never found.”
