Lukashenka: People Not Exactly Die Of Love For Us

The ruler recognized that Belarusians are tired of the acting boorish power.

The governor said this today, when coordinating the appointment of the heads of local the authorities, BelTA writes.

“How many times do I have to tell you - there is no longer a Communist Party, guys. We are responsible for everything, I mean you. Two election campaigns are on your shoulders. Please provide decent conduct of these campaigns, so that no one would say a word. We have everything to do so. We are not so great. And I understand, and you understand that the people are not exactly dying of the love for us.

However, the people are well aware that the current authorities in Belarus remain a unique phenomenon, not only in the post-Soviet space, we all turned to the people. What did we fail to do for the people to win their support? We did everything,” Lukashenka said.

At the same time the dictator stressed that the people’s well-being depends not only on the authorities, but also on the desire of every citizen to work for a decent life.

“Let it be at least a fifty-fifty: 50% us - keeping of your family and you, and 50% - do stir. But we must openly and honestly talk about it,” said the ruler. “Approaching these campaigns, I remind, they should be carried out decently. DO NOT allow rudeness towards the people, because a lot of complaints will follow. Do not push them away. We don’t have any other people, and our people are not that bad after all. We have to work with them.”
