Lukashenka Threatened To Jail Vouk, And Now He's Lifting Him

Lukashenka Threatened To Jail Vouk, And Now He's Lifting Him

Where's the logic?

Today Lukashenka appointed former Industry Minister Vital Vouk the General Director of Minsk Tractor Plant.

On 13 August 2018, during his visit to Vorsha, Aliaksandr Lukashenka harshly criticized the then Minister of Industry Vital Vouk. "He has little choice: either to go to jail or to go here (at the Vorsha Tool Factory - note), - I'm talking about it publicly," – Lukashenka said. Lukashenka promised to send Vouk to work at the Vorsha Tool Factory the next day, that is, August 14.

On August 16, Vouk was dismissed from the post of Minister of Industry.

However, he never went to Vorsha. Last year, in September, Lukashenka appointed Vital Vouk as his assistant in Vitsebsk region.

The dictator's decision, which does not seem logical, is indicative: one should not believe the fake dressing down of officials and threats of "imprisoning".
