Belarusian Oil Product Export Falls By More Than 17%

In value terms, the shipments have decreased by 18.6% compared to January-April 2018.

The export of petroleum products from Belarus decreased by 17.3% to 3.8 million tons in January-April 2019. This is reported by BelTA with reference to the data of the National Statistics Committee.

In value terms, the shipments decreased by 18.6% to $1.8 billion in comparison with January-April 2018.

The export of oil from Belarus decreased by 9% to 488 thousand tons in January-April (in value terms it decreased by 11.4% to $ 222.7 million). The whole volume was delivered to Germany.

The oil import for 4 months amounted to about 6 million tons (0.5% less than last year). The import of oil products amounted to 73.6 thousand tons (by 95% less - it was 1.5 million tons in January-April 2018).
