The question was raised during a straight line with the Kremlin head.

During a straight line with Putin in Russia, the question was asked: "When Belarus and Russia will live in a real union state?"

The head of the Kremlin replied:

"Today we do not consider the issue of unification in one state. We are talking about the implementation of the agreement on the union state, which was signed many years ago. This is not a single state. This is not the same thing. But there are many elements there, including the creation of a common parliament, a single currency. Something was not done on the part of Russia - something was slowed down on the part of Belarus. Now we have agreed with Aliaksandr Lukashenka that we will return to this agreement and see what can be implemented from what has not been done and what can be corrected. Expert groups are dealing with this," - Putin said.

We remind that earlier, the head of the Central Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, stated that Moscow and Minsk were negotiating on a single currency.
