Has Former Driver Of Deputy Secretary Of State Of Security Council Shot Himself In Brest?

A young officer shot himself with his staff pistol.

One more officer of law enforcement agencies committed suicide in Brest. The man's body was found in his apartment. Information about this incident was published in the NEXTA telegram-channel. A suicide note next to the body was immediately confiscated by "concerned persons" and the information about its contents is not known to the sources. It is known that the employee shot himself with the service gun.

The Department of Investigation Committee of Belarus in Brest region acknowledged that the victim had worked for them as a driver. It is known unofficially that the young officer wasn't just a driver - he was a personal driver of the head of Brest Investigation Committee Aliaksandr Rakhmanau, who was promoted to Minsk on June 11. Lukashenka appointed him as deputy state secretary of the Security Council in place of Andrei Utsiuryn, currently under investigation. Rakhmanau's personal driver stayed in Brest.

The expertise later established that the young officer had killed himself at about 4:00 am on July 15. The shots were heard by neighbors in the house built for the employees of Brest region law enforcement agencies. They could not be mistaken. However, it was not until 23:00 p.m. that the investigators and ambulance doctors managed to get to the dead man's apartment. They had to involve rescue workers with special equipment in order to get there.

The whole story is full of mystery: there is still unconfirmed information that the deceased was actually serving not in the IC, but in the KGB. However, he could have combined his work in two departments: the practice of the abolished back in 1990 Soviet 9th Department (personal protection of large law enforcers and officials), has not been eliminated in Belarus. However, the most vague here is the real motives for the young officer's suicide. We are unlikely to be told about them. Or they will tell a lie.
