There was an emergency near BelNPP in Astravets: a fire truck overturned. It happened because the asphalt had collapsed. A photo of the accident was published by the Nexta telegram channel, Radio Svaboda reports.

According to Nexta, the wheel of the MES car got stuck in a pot hole in the asphalt and overturned. The incident occurred on July 20, about 19:20, when the car was leaving its unit on the BelNPP territory for a fire in the village of Biarozauka, Astravets district.

The MES press service confirmed that the incident had occurred "on the public road". However, they refused to provide details. They added that "no one had been injured".

"We have no right to disclose more information about the accident," - Vital Navitski, an official representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, said.

Natallia Zhyvaleuskaya, an official representative of Hrodna regional Department of Emergency Situations, added that "the car did not turned upside-down, it was a traffic accident".

The Hrodna regional traffic police department also confirmed that there had been no victims of the accident, but did not provide details.

"This information is of no value," - the traffic police said.

The Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant has not yet provided any information.
