On July 3, a woman of 64 years old died at the fireworks in Minsk. This is officially confirmed by the Investigative Committee.

The previously published preliminary information has been officially confirmed: this event became the last one for one of the spectators of the "bloody fireworks" at the show on July 3 - she died while receiving medical assistance. The preliminary diagnosis was a "shrapnel wound to the neck, ruptured carotid artery, acute blood loss". The woman was 64 years old, blogger NEXTA reports.

The Minister of Internal Affairs also arrived at the place of the emergency.

The blogger notes that there could have been many more victims on July 3. There were also fireworks in the military town of Uruchcha, one shell exploded without leaving the ground in about 3 or 4 minutes.

There were a lot of spectators there, and they were standing close. But they were rescued from the flying fragments by the lockups, which were located on the territory of the military unit between them and the salute unit.

The Ministry of Defense of Belarus and the Investigative Committee have confirmed the death of a woman and injuries to several people during the fireworks.

"The Commission of the Ministry of Defense together with the Investigation Committee establishes the reasons for injuries to citizens during the fireworks in Minsk.

As a result, four people were injured, including a woman who received injuries incompatible with life.

The military department expresses its condolences to the families and friends of the deceased and will provide them with the necessary assistance.

It has been established that charges used during the fireworks had been used before.

The Investigative Committee has published the following information:

"Despite the timely assistance, a woman born in 1955 who was watching the fireworks on the bank of the Svislach River and was wounded could not be rescued.

Investigators are currently investigating her death. The issue of initiating criminal proceedings is under consideration.

According to preliminary data, several other victims had received medical treatment in connection with the injuries. However, they did not need hospitalization. The exact number of people who turned to medical institutions is being established.
