In Brest Region, Man Committed Suicide In Police GAZ After Detention

The man was 33 years old.
On the night of July 6, Kobryn policemen were called to a family scandal in the village of Stryhava. The detained scandalist committed suicide right in the police car, the Interior Ministry reports.
The 33-year-old man, who had been repeatedly prosecuted for family scandals, was detained and placed in the compartment for the detained of the police service car "GAZ". He committed suicide there.
The policemen and paramedics tried to revive him, but the man died.
The IC is conducting a check-up.
A similar case took place in Niasvizh district on November 29 last year: a 48-year-old man was found hanged in a police car there. He also committed suicide in a specially equipped compartment of the service UAZ "Patriot", where he was being transported to the department for an administrative offence.
His relatives did not believe in suicide, but they didn't manage to initiate a criminal case.
