Destiny Of Belarusian Tourists In Georgia Reported

The women were found on the climax of Mount Tetnuldi.

During a search operation, employees of the Emergency Management Service of Georgia found the bodies of two of the three missing tourists from Belarus on Mount Tetnuldi (Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region), the third woman was saved, she was injured. This has been reported by TASS.

“Rescuers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Emergency Management Service, as a result of ongoing comprehensive search work in Svaneti on the climax of Tetnuldi Mountain, found three missing tourists. Two Belarusian citizens are dead, and one is injured,” the message states.

The emergency service assessed the condition of the injured citizen of Belarus as extremely serious, she will be taken to the hospital.

Yesterday it became known that the rescuers were searching for three tourists from Belarus who disappeared on Wednesday evening on Mount Tetnuldi in Svaneti.

The women were part of a group of climbers who, after conquering the summit, returned to the base. On the way to the camp, the tourists left the group and were not seen again.

The exact age of the women is unknown. One is about 36 years old, the other two are under 60.

The search operation lasted until dark, active searches resumed this morning.
