Are They Hiding Fire At BelNPP?

A document appeared on the internet, claiming there was a fire in the communication tunnel.

Today, the NEXTA blogger in his Telegram channel talked about another incident at the BelNPP construction site in Astravets:

- Have you heard there was a fire not so long ago at the Belarusian nuclear power plant under construction near Astravets? We did not know this either - we accidentally discovered this fact, looking through the official documents of power engineers. Everything happened on May 12, and the “most open in the world” press-center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations concealed this information.

It was the communications tunnel that set on fire back then (important cables should pass through it). It is located deep underground - at minus 7.2 meters. And the cause of the fire was the fact that the plasterer decided to smoke next to an open container with a flammable solvent inside.

Firefighters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the site and extinguished the fire in full, and the very fact of the fire at the nuclear power plant was made secret from the public by their superiors.

Do you really think that in the event of an accident with the emission of radiation it will be somehow different? We are not living in a country where they tell the truth.

Spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Emergency Situations Vital Navitski commented on the message of the NEXTA Telegram channel about the fire at the BelNPP, for the Office Life website.

“If you read the document, you will understand that this was not a fire. It was an inflammation of the solvent in the container, as it is written in the document,” he said.
