Lukashenka: Thank God We Have No Oligarchs

The dictator has held a session with the force structures.

Lukashenka has said this today as he spoke at the session dedicated to the improvement of the quality of work of the law-enforcement agencies, BelTA reports.

“We often say, thank God it’s not happening here, it’s somewhere else. Thank God we did not raise in this country the class of oligarchs, who not only resolve certain situations, but rule the whole country in the actual fact. We did not let the gangsters and criminals to divide the country into parts, running protection over these parts, piggybacking on our people. This is the greatest achievement not only of the recent time, but of the whole period of the independent Belarus. We managed to do this thanks to the policy pursued by the authorities, and thanks to what you - the representatives of the law-enforcement bodies - do,” he said.
