250 Protesters Marched Through Brest Center

Residents of the city were protesting against the battery factory.

On Sunday, August 25, Brest residents came to the central square of the city for another rally against the battery factory, the correspondent of Charter97.org reports.

The peculiarity of the rally today was that many participants decided to wear yellow scarves.

Fiodar Piatrusievich, an activist of the European Belarus civil campaign who decided to take part in the autumn election campaign in Brest, addressed the protesters.

The Charter97.org correspondent reports that about 200 people gathered on the square in Brest.

The column of protesters marched along the central streets of the city.

During the march, common passers-by were joining the protesters, the number of protesters increased to 250, the Charter97.org reports.
