19-Year-Old District Policeman Died After Being Hit By Colleague In Dokshytsy Bar

Ivan Khilko didn’t live four days till his 20th birthday.

On September 9, 19-year-old district police officer of the Dokshytsy district department of internal affairs Ivan Khilko passed away in Minsk.

On August 31, he was hit by a colleague, 22-year-old Aliaksandr Zhdanko. The incident happened in the “Sphere” bar in Dokshytsy, nn.by writes.

According to the locals, the conflict was about a girl, whom Zhdanko and Ivan Khilko’s brother both wanted to date.

After the incident, Ivan was taken to the hospital by an ambulance car, he was first transferred to Vitsebsk, then to Minsk. He was in the intensive care department.

Ivan’s parents didn’t want to talk to the journalists. However, their acquaintances informed that Ivan’s jaw was severely damaged as a result of the blow, and one of its fragments cut the ceratoid artery. Moreover, after the blow, Ivan fell on the floor and hurt his temple.

Ivan Khilko will be buried on September 11 in his native village of Nestseraushchyna in the Dokshytsy district. The guy would have turned 20 on September 13.

Aliaksandr Zhdanko, who hit Ivan, was detained after the fight but then released on recognizance.
