Belarusian Aliaksei Talai Set a New World Record for Swimming

The Belarusian Paralympic was a bearcat at the 50m breaststroke.

Aliaksei Talai set a world record at his debut swimming world championship among Paralympians in London. Belarus was a bearcat at the 50m breaststroke, Radio Svaboda reports.

"It's hard to believe it, but it's a fact," Aliaksei does not hide his emotions. - Sports are full of unpredictable situations, failures and unexpected news. I have already faced this. Fortunately, the International Paralympic Committee system has information about it. It's time for me to rejoice: I have set a new world record.

Aliaksei Talai is 36 years old. He comes from Orsha. The man has no arms and legs. As a teenager, he was blown up by a mine of the war. The tragedy was not an obstacle for him to start a business. He is a successful motivational speaker. He visited many countries in Europe, North America and Asia.

He has a family with four children and is the founder of the Fund for Children, master of sports, multiple World and European champion, member of the national Paralympic team of Belarus for swimming.
