Minsk Resident: Sick And Tired Of This Power

We live in the heart of Europe, and it seems like we have a sultanate here.

A Minsk resident has told us why she came to the picket to collect signatures for the European Belarus civil campaign:

- I'm sick and tired of this power, this permanent "president". I am concerned that bureaucracy is inevitable in this country and that all the branches of power are subordinate to one person. I would like to see independent courts in our country, an independent investigative committee and a prosecutor's office. In fact, we live in the center of Europe, and it seems as if we have a sultanate in the country.

European Belarus activists invite Minsk citizens to come to pickets in Minsk. Today they will be held in the next places of the city:

18A Second Bagration Lane, the Rubliouski Store: 15.00 — 18.30,

7 Russiyanau Street, the Pershamaiski department store: 14.00 — 19.00,

5 Piotr Hlebka Street, the Skala Shopping Mall: 16:00 - 21:00,

the Kamennaya Horka metro station, exit to the Matsiaryk shopping center: 17.30 - 20.30,

the Institute of Culture metro station, exit to Mahiliouskaya Street: 17.00 - 19.30,

the Pushkinskaya metro station, exit to the McDonald's restaurant: 15.30 - 19.30,

13 Karbyshau Street, the Zlatka shop: 14.00 - 19.00,

the site at the entrance to the Kamarouski market: 12.00 - 17.00,

3 Mirashnichenka Street, the Vitalur shop: 15.00 - 18.00.
