European Belarus Activists Taught Skala Shopping Center Employees Lesson

Activists with national and European symbols held a picket to collect signatures right at the entrance to the shopping center.

Today the administration of Minsk "Skala" was taught to respect the electoral legislation. The activists of the European Belarus civil campaign held a picket to collect signatures at the entrance to the mall, where a few days ago they beat up activist Valeryj Bychkouski, the press service of the civil campaign reports.

Immediately after they started collecting signatures, representatives of the administration came up to them again. As well as last time, they tried to stop the picket, but when they were pointed to the article of the Criminal Code about the obstruction of the elections, they retreated. The police officers, who were called by the "Skala" administration, did not find any violations, wished good luck to the activists and left. The representatives of the district election commission who arrived at the picket could not point out any violations of the law.

The collection of signatures for Valeryj Bychkousky continued until the evening. Andrei Chuma, deputy head of security at the shopping center, who had a fight with the activist on September 13, did not appear this time.
