Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Belarus Didier Kanesse attended a picket to collect signatures of the European Belarus civil campaign in Svetlahorsk, the press service of the campaign reports.

The diplomat discussed the situation in the town and the European prospects of the country with the activists.

- We told him about our signature collection and what people are talking about, what they are complaining about and what they are waiting for. We talked about our goals.
