Kidnapping in Brest: New details revealed

Today, the blogger NEXTA reported in his Telegram-channel about the abduction of a girl from Brest. According to the blogger, she was a student of Brest State Technical University.

"The girl was pushed into the trunk of the car and taken away.

In the city and its suburbs, the "Interception" plan was launched, which, according to some reports, has already turned out to be a success. The girl was found, the kidnapper was detained, and what it really was - is just in these moments to understand," the blogger NEXTA wrote.

Later, the spokesman for the Interior Ministry clarified these events:

" At 8:38 a.m. today, September 30, line 102 received a message from a resident of Brest.

He said that a young man pushed a girl into the trunk of a car "Volkswagen Jeta" of dark blue color in the yard of an apartment building on Moskovskaya Street and left in an unknown direction.

At 8.45 a.m., a girl called Line 102, saying she was in the trunk of a Volkswagen Jeta car driven by her ex-boyfriend. She did not know where the car was going, but informed the police about the driver's data.

All police patrols were focused on finding the car. Operators of Zhabinka District and Maskouski District Department of Internal Affairs of Brest in the village of Busni, Zhabinka district, found a car, and later a young man born in 1990, a resident of Kobrin district, and a girl born in 1998, Brest resident and an employee of one of the regional center's banking institutions.

The Brest woman told the police how a young man pulled her out of the trunk by a bus stop and hit her on the head with a bat several times.

Currently, the man is detained and investigators will give a legal assessment of his actions.

The girl was taken to hospital with a head injury.

According to the website Virtual Brest, residents of the village of Busni near Zhabinka defended the girl kidnapped in Brest. She escaped from the trunk of the car and asked for help from local residents.
