Flags With Pahonia At Opening Of Monument To Gedimin In Lida

European Belarus activists have streamed historical flags.

A monument to Grand Duke Gedimin of Lithuania has been opened in Lida. The opening ceremony was attended by activists of the European Belarus civil campaign, who unfurled flags with the Belarusian coat of arms Pahonia and white-red-white national flags.

"Flags with Pahonia are in Lida today - in Minsk tomorrow. We'll meet at our pickets in the near future," - Yauhen Afnahel, coordinator of European Belarus, wrote on Facebook.
