Minskers Heard Siren At HES-4

What happened?

In the evening of January 13, Minsk residents started to inform tut.by that they had heard a siren in the area of HES-4 in Minsk (Frunzenski district). Minskenerha has reported on what exactly happened.

Minskenerha says the siren activated spontaneously.

"On January 13, 2020, at 19.05, the siren P-164 of the emergency warning system spontaneously activated at the HES-4. After 1 minute the P-164 siren was switched off by the HES-4 personnel with the notification of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. No violations in the operation of the HES-4 equipment were detected," - it says.

It is specified there that the city's power system operates in normal mode without failures.
