And for so long now.

European Belarus activist from Svetlahorsk Dzmitry Savich has shared his opinion on the situation in the country with Charter97.org, and also supported his associate from Vorsha, Dzmitry Kazlou.

- Lukashenka's occupation regime is afraid of the truth. On January 9, the detention of European Belarus activist Dzmitry Kazlou (aka blogger Grey Cat) in the Vorsha police department was extended. He got there only because he had exercised his constitutional right (article 34 of the Constitution) to disseminate socially important information. He had publicly expressed his thoughts about the wildness and lawlessness that were taking place in the country. Such people as Dzima represent Prometheus or Danko in our Belarusian dictatorial modernity. Only they dare to tell the truth in a non-free country and are ready to "get it in the neck" from the fascist junta for it.

What is interesting is that horror and fear caused by Cat's point of view wrestled down the greed and profit-seeking of those in power. Instead of regular 50 basic units to replenish the budget, which they steal annually, he was given the next 15 days of arrest. So his words have hit the right target. The authorities have concretely soil their pants and decided to lock up the popular blogger and the leader of public opinion "for a longer time".

Belarusians have hated this collective farm dictatorship for a long time. From the moment they realized that instead of their hopes for the dynamic development of the country they had received a puppet regime concerned only with strengthening their personal power and inventing new ways to steal from the population. However, one should understand that it is a hundred times harder for Belarusians to start reforms and transformations in their country than for, let's say, Poles or Lithuanians. 10 million people are hostages of not only a half-mad dictator once set up by neighboring Russia to rule our country, but also of global geopolitics. Russia does not want to lose an additional military foothold in the west. That is why we do not have a proper border on the east.

But the good always conquers the evil. The main thing is to believe in it. And to do whatever it takes to make it happen. Then those who think they "have the right" will understand that they are the "trembling creatures", not the people of Belarus.
