Belavia Aircraft Turned To Take Off Belarusian Officials?

Belavia Aircraft Turned To Take Off Belarusian Officials?

Six passengers have been taken off the plane from Minsk to Munich.

As reported, yesterday, Belavia flight B2 899, flying from Minsk to Munich, turned over Poland and landed at the airport of Hrodna. Six passengers were taken out of the plane, they were asked to take their carry-on and luggage with them. The board was searched. These six passengers - who are they?

Onliner reader Dzmitry was on that flight to Munich. This is what he has told us about what happened after the plane landed in Hrodna.

- People in green uniforms came in - most likely, the border guards. They called several passengers (six of them: two from one family, four - from another, if I'm not mistaken), took them outside with their belongings. They searched the places where they were sitting. <...> The passengers who were supposed to go out were called by their last names. Probably it was a husband and wife and their parents who were older. It seems that four more people were taken out, but then they were returned (probably, they were with small children, but I'm not sure). They looked disappointed, which was natural, but they weren't hysterical either. Two of them and four of them were with the same last name. All the named people were sitting together in a big company before the flight, I think, even had a glass of champagne. But they weren't drunk.

The reader, talking to the journalists, remembered the surnames of those called by the people in uniform: Rudnik and Kryshtapovich.

According to unconfirmed information, Piotr Rudnik, who served as chairman of the Mahiliou regional executive committee from December 2008 to December 2014, and Mikhail Kryshtapovich, who was a member of the republic's council, were taken off the B2 899 flight.

There is no official information about detaining B2 899 passengers yet. The Belavia airline and the State Border Committee have not commented on the incident in any way.
