Prices for fruit wine will also rise.

The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) raised the minimum price for alcohol, writes office life.

Drinks with a strength of over 40 degrees, which are produced in Belarus, previously could not be sold in the local market for less than 6 rubles 17 kapeykas. Now the minimum threshold is 6 rubles 47 kapeykas. This means an increase by about 4.9%. Moreover, this has become the minimum price not only for the over 40 degrees drinks, but starting from 28.

The retail prices for fruit wine will also rise. Earlier, the price for 0.7 liters of a fruit wine with a strength of 18 degrees (excluding VAT and on condition of free shipment), was not lower than 2 rubles 84 kapeykas. Now it has reached 2 rubles 99 kapeykas.

The selling price of the rectified drinks will also change. Rectified ethyl alcohol made of edible raw materials (including excise duty) on condition of free shipment (excluding VAT) cannot cost less than 71 rubles 73 kapeykas per a decalitre of anhydrous alcohol. Previously, it was 69 rubles 33 kapeykas.
