Oil Well Near Rechytsa On Fire

The cause of the fire is being established.
On January 2, at 18:27, the Rechytsa rescuers received a message about a fire at the oil well #37 in the Niakrasava field of RUE PO Belarusneft, near the village of Yanauka.
The well is not currently operating, and is in development after drilling. The fire, according to the press-center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, began after the pipeline had been damaged.
The rescuers extinguished the fire within an hour. Also, the Ministry of Emergency Situations carried out the work on cooling the equipment and preventing re-ignition. No casualties have been reported.
