Details of the Fire at the Chinese Central Control Commission in Svetlahorsk Have Become Known

Locals say breathing has become even harder in the city.

It became known that at 10:38 am, the rescuers left for the emergency site. There was an open burning of the tank's roof at the section of tall oil preparation. An employee of a third-party organization who was carrying out repair work on this tank died. At the moment, rescuers are extinguishing the fire and cooling the adjacent tank, writes the NEXTA telegram channel.

Meanwhile, local residents report that the air in the city is more polluted than usual, and it has become even harder to breathe.

The Telegram channel recalls that the plant was built by a Chinese developer with a loan from the Eximbank of China. After numerous complaints from local residents about an unpleasant smell, choking, nausea, sore throat, vomiting after the enterprise's commissioning, the local authorities and representatives of the plant confirmed the fact of the emissions but called them temporary and linked it to the forced adjustment of the equipment. In 2019, photos of a collapsed roof in one of the new workshops got into the network - then, the plant's management announced that a planned roof repair was being carried out. And this year, during repair work, a pipe with a hot alkaline mixture broke through at the plant, which caused two people to receive severe burns, and later one of them died in a hospital in Minsk.

It's a cursed death factory.
