Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya Met With Swiss MPs

She thanked the deputies for the sanctions that Switzerland had imposed on those who supported the regime.

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya has met with members of parliament of Switzerland, Belsat reports.

The main topic of the meeting is how Switzerland can support the Belarusian people and take part in negotiations to overcome the political crisis in Belarus.

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya thanked for the sanctions that Switzerland has adopted against those who support the regime.

She raised the issue of assistance to Belarusian athletes who are repressed for their political views. The IOC headquarters is situated in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Tsikhanouskaya also touched upon the case of Natallia Khershe, a Swiss citizen who was born in Vorsha. Now the woman is under criminal prosecution.
